Mother 'strangled autistic son'

Yvonne Freaney, 49, of Penarth, Vale of Glamorgan, pleaded guilty to the manslaughter of her son Glen, 11, a jury at Cardiff Crown Court was told.

It is alleged she strangled him before his body was found in a room at the Sky Plaza Hotel in May last year.

She is charged with his murder, which she denies. The case continues.
